about

Wiracocha is a deity in the Andean world. There are many versions to the legend, but one of the most common ones is that the lake titicaca was the origin of the world and that the first humans were conceived from this lake. Wiracocha was the universe creator with other deities such as Pachakamac(the name of my first EP). In this album musically is psychedelic rock, but the inspiration is purely from my land, from my people, friends and family that I miss, living in a foreign country. The ideas behind the names, and and some elements of the songs such as the samples used, came from a combination of different indigenous cultures across the mountain regions and the amazon jungle that I had the opportunity to visit and drink the Yage/Ayahuasca or wine of the gods for the sake of healing and understanding my own place in this earth as a person and as an artist.
