Ronin Snake

from Wiracocha by Tony Maigua

/

about

This song is an inspiration to the mysticism behind some indigenous people in the amazon. Particularly the tribe Chipibo Izibo has a lot of mythology in his cultural memory. For example it's believed that a huge snake was responsible for the creation of the world and that's why the patterns of their clothes and tools look very similar to patterns of snakes. This snake RONIN is the equivalent for them as Wiracocha in Bolivia, which is the main artwork concept of this album.
